How to design a comprehensive approach to workplace intoxicants(defined as drugs and alcohol).
Completing drug and alcohol risk assessments and control measures which are reflected in the safety statement.
Training for Managers and Supervisors in the management of poor performance caused by workplace intoxicants (defined as drugs and alcohol).
The provision of employee information and education on responsibilities contained in Section 13(1)b of The Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005.
Selecting best practice employee support services and EAPs, including reasonable accommodation for treatment and rehabilitation of identified employees. (Labour Court March 2006).
Outline legally defensible employee drug testing standards set by The European Workplace Drug Testing Society (EWDTS).
